Lifting Communities by empowering women through reciprocity
April 10th, CGWE, Nekemte Rotary and Hundee Team created reading corner/village library in Burqa Uke Primary School. We the volunteers got overwhelmed and emotional with warmly welcome, parent coming to support their children, teachers and school administrators are eager to get education for children in the village.
April 9th, we celebrated Dabaree in Wayu Tuka district. It was joyful moment witnessing beneficiaries giving their first born female calf to a woman in need, empowering women in their community. Empower women, they will empower others!

Brenda Floyd and I (Mimi) had fun last night at Genoa Baptist Church Christmas party. The group collected donation gift items and sold them as auction to support missions like CGWE and other non profit organizations.
